as an art kid who also loved playing on the computer, i had always imagined graphic design being the perfect career for me. it wasn’t until i tried my hand at it that i realized it didn’t fulfill me in the ways i had hoped.

i eventually stumbled onto product design and realized this was the dream job I didn't know existed. It felt like a nod to the 13-year-old version of me who was constantly advocating for spotify over apple music because it had ‘way better features,' and who was completely enamored by how club penguin could seamlessly bring an online community together. it connected the dots between my childhood curiosities and my professional purpose.
